  • Are there Superfund sites in your zip?  (In your BLOG, make sure to tell us what a Superfund Site is)
Superfund sites are any parts of  land in the United States that have been contaminated by hazardous waste. Thankfully, there are no superfund sites in my zip, considering that they can be super harmful to individuals' health.

  • What can you tell us about the Superfund sites that are near where you live?
According to CBS SF Bay Area, the superfund site in Hunter's Point will be tested by the US Navy for radioactive contamination. Its is said that the shipyard was once used for experiments using radioactive material and also as a site for cleaning ships involved in atomic testing in the past. Because of this, people should not leave near this site due to the harm it can cause.
